Sports Camp FAQ's
"Success is the sum of small efforts repeated"
Questions Answered
What should my child bring?
- Refillable water bottle.
- Packed lunch & snacks.
- Weather appropriate clothing.
- Trainers suitable for indoor/outdoor activity.
- Optional: light jacket, hat, sunscreen.
Does my child need to be sporty?
Not at all. RBL camps are designed for all ability levels, with plenty of encouragement and differentiated activities.
What if my child has additional needs?
RBL aim to be as inclusive as possible. Please contact us before booking so we can discuss how to support your child.
Are your coaches qualified and DBS checked?
Yes. All staff are:
- Enhanced DBS checked.
- Experienced in coaching primary aged children.
- Trained in safeguarding and first aid.
Can I book single days?
Yes — parents can book individual days or full weeks depending on availability.
Do you offer early dropoff or late pickup?
Yes. These can be added during the ClassForKids checkout process.
What is your refund/cancellation policy?
- Cancellations more than 7 days before camp: Full refund or credit.
- Cancellations within 7 days: Credit only (no refund).
- If your child is unwell, please contact us to discuss options – we’ll always try to help.
What happens in bad weather?
RBL always have a full indoor plan ready, so camp continues safely and smoothly.
What if my child has a medical condition?
RBL welcome children with medical conditions and will always do our best to support their needs. When booking, please provide full details of your child’s condition, medication, and any specific requirements so our team can prepare appropriately. If your child needs medication during the day (such as an inhaler or EpiPen), it must be brought to camp each morning, clearly labelled, and handed to a member of staff at signin. Our Associates are trained to follow the guidance you provide and will ensure your child is safe, included, and supported throughout the day.
Can siblings be together in the same groups?
Yes — siblings can be placed in the same group if they’d like to stay together. We know this can help some children feel more confident, especially on their first day. If there’s an age or ability difference, we’ll make sure the activities are still suitable for both children. If you prefer them to be in separate groups, just let us know at signin and we’ll happily arrange that too.
Can someone else pick up my child?
Yes — if we know in advance. If someone other than the named parent or guardian will be collecting your child, please let us know at dropoff or contact us during the day. We may ask for the name of the person collecting and, if needed, a quick password or confirmation at pickup to ensure your child’s safety. We won’t release a child to anyone who hasn’t been authorised.
What do I do if I’m running late in dropping/picking my child up?
If you’re running late for dropoff, please let us know as soon as you can. We’ll make sure your child is signed in safely when you arrive and help them settle into the session.
If you’re running late for pickup, please contact us straight away so we can reassure your child and adjust our endofday plans. We understand that delays happen, but repeated late collections may result in an additional charge to cover staffing.
Your child’s safety is our priority and keeping us informed helps the day run smoothly for everyone.
(The Head Associates contact number will be available to call at the sign in desk should no member of staff be inside)
What happens if my child must go home ill from the camp?
If your child becomes unwell during the camp, we’ll contact you immediately to arrange collection. They’ll be looked after by a member of staff in a quiet, supervised area until you arrive. For the wellbeing of all children, we ask that unwell children do not return until they are fully recovered.
Because staffing and planning are fixed for the week, we’re unable to offer refunds for illness that occurs during the camp, but please get in touch and we’ll always do our best to offer a credit where possible.
What if I need to change my booking on the ClassForKids app?
If you need to make a change to your booking, the easiest option is to contact us directly. ClassForKids doesn’t allow parents to edit bookings themselves once they’re confirmed, but we can usually adjust things on our side — such as changing days, adding early dropoff, or updating details. Just send us a message or speak to us at dropoff, and we’ll do our best to help.
How and when do I pay?
All payments are made securely through ClassForKids at the time of booking. Once you select your camp dates, the system will guide you through the checkout process, where you can pay by card or use any instalment options available. Your child’s place is confirmed as soon as payment is completed.
How do I book?
All bookings are made through ClassForKids, our secure online booking system. Just click the Book Now button on our website, choose your dates, and follow the checkout steps. It only takes a couple of minutes, and you’ll receive instant confirmation once your child’s place is
secured.

Do you provide lunch?
No, we don’t provide lunch. Children will need to bring a packed lunch, plenty of snacks, and a refillable water bottle each day. RBL keep the children active throughout the camp, so we recommend including enough food to keep them fuelled and energised. Please avoid any products containing nuts to help us keep all children safe.
